There are many adults whose drive for success can be traced back to their younger years, but not everyone can say that they developed their “take charge” attitude by jumping behind the wheel of a Zamboni!
Will Swade is a Sylvania, Ohio native and a Northview alumnus. As a young go-getter, Will took his first job as a rink guard at Tam-O-Shanter and within just a few days he proved himself as a guy who wants to climb the ladder…the Zamboni ladder that is. Will jumped behind the wheel one morning when the usual driver was a no-show , ultimately leading to a quick promotion and a career mantra of taking charge to get the job done.
Will is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) Several years after college, Will purchased his own insurance agency and two years later opened a second location. His continuous desire to climb the ladder of success resulted in him winning several prestigious awards, and he was recruited to share his customer acquisition and retention strategies with other branches. Will often reflected on that “take charge” moment at the ice rink and utilized that motivation as a way to deliver smooth insurance transactions for customers.
Similar to many other business owners, COVID created challenges for Will’s in-person relationship building strategy and created a shift in his goals. He soon decided he’d rather focus on what he loves most: helping customers protect their homes, cars, and everything else that matters. Will sold his agencies and joined the RBI team where he has found a very similar customer-centric mindset and the drive to take charge for his clients.
When he’s not solving your insurance woes, you’ll find Will hanging out with his teenage son, fishing, golfing, or debating whether catching a big fish counts as cardio (spoiler: it does). Although no longer hanging out at the ice rinks, Will still enjoys the cold and will often head north in the winters for big river fishing trips.
Will is dedicated to making sure you understand your policies without needing Google and his friendly, down-to-earth approach takes the stress out of securing coverage.
